The basis of the Knowledge Insight system is the technology, which allows intelligent search. This is the Dynamic Reasoning Engine (DRE).

This technology has the ability to:

• identify concepts rather than simple keywords
• focus on a particular user's needs
• train itself and keep updated, yet also accept targeted training
• be applied across applications and shared among users
• adapt to natural languages- does not rely on English language or rules of formal grammar

How does it work?

The technology of the DRE functions in four main ways:

• Concept matching: by accepting text input and applying concept to other documents, the DRE targets the relevant concepts
• Agent creation: based on specific training or document input, the DRE builds up a profile of key ideas and patterns of terms
• Agent retraining: The DRE continually adapts the Agent according to the texts being used
• Standard Text Search: In response to a natural language or Boolean query, the DRE delivers a list of documents from all sources of information
